I just had to let everyone know how amazing our Vista window film has been this summer. It’s now the 24th of June and we have yet to switch on the AC.  The temperature at our home in Centennial reached 92 degrees outside but the inside never got above 78. In years gone by we would crank up the AC around 8am and keep it on all day in an effort to stay cool but now we can enjoy the summer with the knowledge that we are not wasting hundreds of dollars a month on energy bills.

I did some quick calculations and have worked out that I should save around $800.00 this year. I spent around $1,900 on the film so it will be paid in just over 2 years.

My husband and I have looked into various ways to help save energy and have even considered wind and solar power for our home. While these types of products are obviously wonderful ways to save  energy they also have pay back periods of anywhere from 8 -20 years.  I don’t normally write blogs but I really don’t understand why this product is not better known among the general public and just wanted to try and get the word out.
